The buildings date from the 17th century and were designed by Sir Christopher Wren who also designed St Pauls Cathedral.
This is part of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site and is home to the painted hall and chapel as well as the extensive lawns, collonnaded walkways and a museum.
