Fairlop Waters Country Park in London
Redbridges largest country park boasting a large natural play area and the UKs largest boulder park.

Used as RAF Fairlop to house a Spitfire squadron in World War 2, the site was proposed as the site of London City Airport. Subsequently used for gravel extraction which allowed the ponds to be created from the gravel pits.

There are 2 waymarked nature trails which indicate that you may see common lizards, great crested newts, grass snakes and hedgehogs.
