A 35 acre site of ancient woodland that is managed by coppicing to encourage a diversity of wildlife.
There are well maintained paths through the wood and a marked nature trail. A stream runs through the wood into a small pond. There are bridges, crossing the stream and a picnic area in the North East corner.
