Part of a series of gardens along the River Thames in Richmond. All gardens are accessed from the Thames Path, the other gardens are Mears Walk, Midhurst Site and Riverdale Gardens.
The upper level of the garden has a statue to Bernardo OHiggins who led the army to free Chile from Spain in their war of independence.
Bernardo lived in Richmond between 1795-1798. A ceremony is attended by the Chilean ambassador in August each year.
