Southwark Park in London
One of Londons oldest parks it was first opened to the public in 1869 and has recently been refurbished.

Southwark Park has received a Green Flag Award and has a wide range of attractions including wildlife and rose gardens, a bandstand, a childrens playground.

The lake is home to wildfowl and a statue of leaping dolphins.

Near the lake are the Caryatides, which are architectural supports in the form of female figures which originally framed to doorway to the old Rotherhite town hall.

There are also 2 art galleries in the park.
