Created for the 2012 Olympic games the area is now being transformed. Check the web site before you visit as attractions are liable to change and subject to different opening times.
As well as leaving a sporting legacy there is also parkland and a playground featuring rock pools, sand pits, treeehouses and wobbly bridges. A series of themed trails are being developed across the 560 acre site.
