Downhills Park

Downhills Park in London
Green flag winning park covering 30 acres divided between formal sports and managed gardens.

Named after a large house that used to stand here but was demolished when the council purchased the area in 1902. The terrace, Italian garden, rockery and pond were all retained from the original gardens.

A new playground was built in 2002 and the old play area became a wild flower meadow.
