Charterhouse in London
Historic buildings that were previously used as a priory and school dating from the 14th, 16th and 17th centuries.

The museum tells the story of the Charterhouse from the middle ages.

The site is still used as almshouses to provide housing for elderly people in need, as it has done since the middle ages.

As the gardens are for the benefit of the residents, they are only open to the public at certain times - check the web site for details.
