Carshalton Park in London
Originally part of a deer park containing features such as the remains of a 17th century grotto and ornamental canal.

The hogpit was originally a reservoir to supply water to the River Wandle to keep water flowing to the local mills. Today it and the canal are dry except for period of heavy rain when they fill up.

There are free to use tennis courts, gym equipment and a childrens playground.
